WHAT WE DO

Quality therapy should be accessible.

Counselors, Social workers, Marriage and Family therapists and other behavioral health professionals do not get into the field because the paycheck is anything to write home about. It takes something else to drive a person to walk through undergad, graduate school, practicum and internship. To follow that up with years of directed experience, supervision, and intense training only earning about 50% of what master degree holders earn annually.

The community in Buford Georgia looking for mental health counseling primarily are insurance holders looking to use insurance for help. These plans pay on average less than $100 pers session and even if a clinician is willing to see the client at a reduced rate the person searching for therapy would rather find a therapist in network. The issue is the number of counselors accepting  all the major insurances is a small fraction of the total qualified counselors. So after a call or two the person seeking help gives up.

THIS IS NOT OK.

Our goal is simple. Pay therapists what they are worth. Put them through intrewnse training. Never turn someone away due to money. Only reasons like style, modality, trainning, etc. should be the reasons a thereapist is not the
